Born on October 6, 1976 in Taipei, Barbie Hsu began her entertainment career in 1994 when she and her younger sister formed the girl group SOS. In 2001, she became famous throughout Asia with her role as Sam Cai in the TV series “Meteor Garden”. This drama brought her to new heights and became a symbol of the Taiwanese idol drama wave.
In addition to “Meteor Garden”, Barbie Hsu has also participated in many other TV series and films such as “God of War” (Mars, 2004), “Corner with Love” (Corner with Love, 2007) and “Summer’s Desire” (Summer’s Desire, 2010).
